Rama Montakhabi – Actress, Artist, Entrepreneur, and Philanthropist

Rama Montakhabi is an Iranian American actress, artist, entrepreneur, and philanthropist dedicated to creative expression and community impact. A proud member of SAG-AFTRA, she is best known for her role as Peaches in the hit Starz series BMF (Black Mafia Family), a character based on a real-life figure she met while filming in Detroit.

Born to Iranian refugee parents and raised in Northern Virginia, Rama pursued her passion for acting from a young age. She moved to New York in 2009, where she immersed herself in independent films and television.
After facing personal loss, she relocated to Los Angeles and built a successful career, securing roles on networks such as HBO, Showtime, MTV, VH1, and Lifetime.

Beyond acting, Rama is a gifted freehand artist with a home gallery showcasing her work. She also founded Create O’Rama, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping individuals explore creativity through programs like paint nights, karaoke, acting workshops, and real estate awareness. Through this initiative, she empowers individuals by providing artistic exposure and valuable life lessons.

Rama holds an honorary Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Humanities, recognizing her contributions to the arts and philanthropy.
Additionally, she is a licensed realtor in California, demonstrating her versatility across multiple fields.
